Murray & Burrell originally started out as a small jobbing builder with a large proportion of this work coming from repair and maintenance projects.
Initially, the company was primarily involved in domestic work. This rapidly evolved to include mill and factory work.
Obviously, as times have changed so too have our customers. We now work extensively for the public sector, with some 50% of our work in this area.
In addition to our highly experienced staff of construction professionals, we also maintain our own in-house team of joiners, masons, painter/decorators, tilers, scaffolders, labourers and many other trades.
We ensure that their portfolio of skills reflects the latest building practises through continual training and development, which is in line with our policy of Investors in People.
This not only enables us to control the schedule and the costs but also the quality of each stage of the build, to ensure that our work is nothing other than of the highest quality.
The breadth of skills within Murray & Burrell’s in-house team, ensures that we have a considerable advantage over many other companies.
Service is also paramount, particularly in emergencies. Our team, under the supervision of Brian Herbert, continually exceed the expectations of our demanding public sector clients.
